Israel Police closed part of northern HaTzuk Beach in Tel Aviv after ordnance items were found along the shoreline and in the water. Police bomb disposal experts are working to handle the items safely.
After receiving a report of ordnance items on the beach and in the water, officers from Tel Aviv North Police Station in the Yarkon Subdistrict arrived with bomb disposal experts and additional forces. They isolated the area and began extensive searches.
Because of the potential danger, part of the beach was closed to swimmers and visitors until the items have been handled and the area fully inspected.
Police asked the public to follow officers’ instructions, stay away from the area and avoid touching suspicious objects of any kind.
