The school year will open in the city on September 1, 2026, with 76,299 students. Changes include smartphones kept out of classrooms at all secondary schools, Chromebooks for seventh graders at nine middle schools, and new preschools and daycare centers.
New Ronit Elkabetz School of the Arts to Open in Kfar Shalem
The new Ronit Elkabetz secondary school for the arts will open in Kfar Shalem on September 1. The complex includes 48 classrooms and was built at a cost of NIS 185 million.
