The Red Line is extending operating hours on Thursday nights during August 2026 and will run until 02:00. Passengers must validate their fare before boarding.
Continuous Bike Path Between Tel Aviv and Herzliya Opens
The Namir Road section opened on August 6, 2026, connecting central Tel Aviv through KKL, Levinsky and Glilot to Herzliya’s employment districts. A continuous ride to Cinema City, Ramat Hasharon and Herzliya Pituach is expected to take around 30 minutes.
Construction Begins on Levi Eshkol Bridge Over Rokach
The municipality began the first phase of construction in June 2026 on a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Rokach Boulevard, continuing Levi Eshkol Street. The bridge is planned to connect the city’s northwestern neighborhoods to a future route south through Weizmann Street and Kikar HaMedina.
