The continuous bicycle route between Tel Aviv-Yafo and Herzliya has gained its missing link on Namir Road. The section was opened on Thursday, August 6, 2026, by Ayalon Highways and connects the KKL area through Levinsky College and Glilot to Herzliya’s employment districts.
For cyclists, this creates a new continuous route from central Tel Aviv to Cinema City, Ramat Hasharon and Herzliya Pituach. The continuous ride takes around 30 minutes.
The City’s Northwestern Neighborhoods Also Gain Easier Connections in Both Directions
Toward central Tel Aviv on one side, and the employment districts of Glilot and Herzliya on the other. The section is part of the Ministry of Transport’s Ofnidan project, which is intended to build an intercity bicycle-path network across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.
