Suzanne Dellal Celebrates Passover with Online Culture

Looking for worthwhile activities for children during the Passover holiday? The Suzanne Dellal Centre is offering a creative alternative: three days of free movement workshops, yoga and musical storytelling on Zoom.

The Passover intermediate days, April 5-7, can be challenging for parents. The Suzanne Dellal Centre is bringing its programming directly into the home with a series of interactive online activities designed to get children moving, spark their imagination and provide the whole family with an anchor of culture and creativity.

Participation is open to the public and free of charge, but advance registration is required.

What is on the program?

  • Sunday, April 5, at 10:00 | Rhythm and Groove in Motion (BEATMOVES): An interactive rhythmic workshop designed especially for the screen with dancer and creator Talia Bik, formerly of Mayumana. Suitable for ages 5-8.
  • Monday, April 6, at 16:00 | Musical Story Time: A humorous and imaginative meeting where words meet sound, led by author and radio presenter Sharon Kantor and composer and harpist Adia Godlevsky. Suitable for ages 4-8.
  • Tuesday, April 7, at 10:00 | A Journey Through the Land of Yoga: A calming yoga session combining movement and breathing with Shelly Tamir, a kindergarten teacher, yoga instructor and author of “A Journey Through the Land of Yoga.” Suitable for ages 3-6.
