Dellal Hall, the center’s largest main theater, will soon begin an extensive renovation expected to last around a year, but the May program remains full of new work and intriguing premieres.
Plans include major upgrades to the stage, technical infrastructure and theater systems to bring the venue in line with the highest standards. The complex’s other halls will continue operating as usual, while some larger productions will temporarily move to alternative venues around the city, including Arison Auditorium and Duhl Hall.
The month’s performances:
- Yaniv Hoffman Dance Company | HOME A work examining the blurred boundary between the private home and public space in a turbulent reality. Through modular costumes and changing elements, the performance asks who holds whom – do we hold the home, or does the home hold us? Arison Auditorium (6 Saadia Gaon Street), 6.5 at 21:00.
- Remangar | ARBOLELLA (Premiere) Flamenco at its most powerful, with 14 dancers and musicians on stage. Accompanied by original music, the energetic work tells the story of a woman moving between pain and choice. Arison Auditorium (6 Saadia Gaon Street), 7.5 at 20:30.
- Yossi Berg and Oded Graf | Dance Movements in the Middle of a War A performance created directly from a destabilized present. The choreographers explore how movement is made during wartime and how the stage and imagination can create another reality even when the ground seems to disappear beneath one’s feet. Ora Studio, 7.5 at 20:30.
- Ofir Yudilevitch | Ta’alul (Family show, ages 4+) A Saturday-morning option for families, this acrobatics and dance performance is full of humor and imagination, with robots and objects coming to life. It combines circus, capoeira, breaking and contemporary dance, and children are invited to participate. Zehava and Jacques Studio, 9.5 at 11:00.
- Dafi Altabeb | VeLichora Asaknu Beshelanu An intimate work touching on memory, partnership and identity. It examines how people hold on to the past to understand the present, moving between fracture and the possibility of repair and reconnection. Zehava and Jacques Studio, 11.5 at 20:30.
- Vertigo Dance Company | Nona A work by Noa and Rina Wertheim that explores the concept of time. Through a sensory journey in movement, it examines human existence within a changing reality and raises questions about choice and presence. Duhl Hall (76 HaTikva Street), 12.5 at 20:00.
- Kamea Dance Company | Erga (2026 World Premiere) Tamir Ginz presents a deeply personal new world premiere. It is an inner journey in search of home, love and meaning, emerging from a place of collapse. Original music written for the performance deepens the tension between hope and fracture. Arison Auditorium (6 Saadia Gaon Street), 15.5, two performances (14:00 and 20:00).
