The outdoor pool at Kfar Maccabiah in Ramat Gan will be open for swimming and recreation throughout the year following the installation of an advanced heating system that will maintain a constant water temperature of 28 degrees Celsius.
Kfar Maccabiah has completed the installation of the new heating system in the outdoor pool serving its hotel and sports club. The system is intended to allow use of the pool during the colder season rather than only in spring and summer.
The 33-meter outdoor pool, which reaches a depth of 2.10 meters, previously operated mainly from May to October and according to weather conditions. Kfar Maccabiah says the upgrade places it among Israel’s heated outdoor pools.
Another Option for Families and Swimmers
The Kfar Maccabiah complex also includes a gym, studio classes, an indoor heated pool, a jacuzzi and additional sports facilities. Heating the outdoor pool is intended to expand the sports and leisure options available to hotel guests and sports club members.
Galil Yitzhaki, CEO of Kfar Maccabiah, said: “Installing the new heating system in the outdoor pool expands the option of using another pool even on cooler days.”
