Beit Ariela and the municipal libraries will hold an extensive series of Book Week events throughout June 2026, with activities for children, families and adults at dozens of locations across Tel Aviv-Yafo.
The program includes story hours, plays, comics and illustration workshops, art workshops, meetings with writers, book clubs, poetry evenings and lectures. Some events are free, while others require advance registration or ticket purchase.
At Beit Ariela, events will include a reading party on June 10 at 18:30, a meeting marking Assaf Inbari’s new book on June 19 at 11:00, and children’s activities such as modeling-clay and comics workshops and story hours.
Activities will also take place at neighborhood libraries including Beit Dani, Yad LaBanim, Kochav HaTzafon, Migdal Shalom, Beit HaShahmat, Magid, Neve Ofer, Nistor, Shapira, Jaffa Gimel, Rozin and the Felicja Blumental Music Center and Library.
Family events include origami workshops, escape rooms, science shows, a story hour with dogs and meetings with children’s authors. Programs for adults include literary meetings, writing workshops, screenings and conversations with creators.
Specific prices have also been published for several events: Beit Ariela story hours such as “The Shoemaker and the Elves” on June 4 and “The Dwarf and His Secret” on June 11 cost NIS 20; the modeling-clay workshop “Hansel and Gretel’s Candy House” on June 9 costs NIS 25; and the comics workshop “Drawn Lives” on June 11 costs NIS 30. Beit Ariela will also hold a “Book Buffet” on June 5 and 6 from 9:00 to 14:00, priced at NIS 30.
