The Eric Einstein Community Center will dedicate three days of the summer vacation to children’s theater. The program, called “August Hatzaga,” will run from Monday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 19, 2026, and is intended for children ages 3-9.
In addition to the shows, the plaza will feature activities including an outdoor games area, a soap-bubble zone, traditional games, a face-painting station, a crafts station, tours of Beit Lessin and “Tili” café for parents. Participating organizations include the Orna Porat Theater, Kibbutz Theater, Haifa Theater, Mediatheque Theater, Beit Lessin Theater and “Mekomot Shmurim.”
What’s on the Program?
The full schedule will be announced soon. Here’s what has been published so far: on Monday, August 17, at least two shows will be staged. At 10:00, Kibbutz Theater will present “Peter and the Wolf,” a children’s adaptation of Sergei Prokofiev’s work, and at 11:30, Haifa Theater will present “The Jungle Book,” for ages 3-8, with a running time of about 50 minutes. Admission to “The Jungle Book” includes one child and one accompanying parent.
How Much Does It Cost?
The regular price for a show and activities in the plaza is NIS 67. DigiTel holders pay NIS 50 for the same package. A package that also includes a backstage tour of Beit Lessin costs NIS 88, with a discount also available to DigiTel holders.
