Metzitzim Beach is introducing a new service for summer 2026 called “HaHof HaShaveh”: an accessible beach area with a professional team of instructors who accompany families and people with physical, cognitive or emotional disabilities.
The service operates from August 4 through September 30, 2026, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, in two time slots: 09:00-12:00 and 16:00-19:00. Participation is free, but advance registration is required.
Assistance begins at the parking area and continues until participants leave the water. The idea is to allow people who need accommodations and close support to visit the beach with organized assistance rather than relying solely on family members or improvised solutions.
