Four men were injured early Saturday morning in a fight that broke out during a party at a club on Elifelet Street in Jaffa. Two Thai nationals were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident, and police ordered the club closed.
Police received a report of the fight in the early morning hours. Officers from Jaffa police station, motorcycle units and Tel Aviv Yasam officers arrived at the venue, where a party attended by hundreds of Thai nationals was taking place.
Four men were found at the club with stab wounds and other injuries. According to medical officials, they were taken for treatment in mild to moderate condition.
Police collected statements and reviewed security-camera footage. Following investigative actions, two suspects in their 30s and 40s were arrested. They were taken for questioning at the police station and were brought before Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Saturday evening for a remand hearing.
The club owner and party producers were also detained for questioning and released under restrictive conditions. Police said the suspected background to the incident was criminal.
