“Tzafon Kita Alef” week will take place from August 23 to 31, 2026, offering a range of activities for children entering first grade and their parents at locations across the neighborhoods north of the Yarkon.
The initiative includes events and workshops at community centers and additional locations in the city’s north. Activities include clay work, T-shirt design, performances, traditional games, a TikTok workshop, cycling, rowing and arts and crafts.
The program also includes making wish notebooks and bookmarks, tie-dye, decorating pencil cases, bags and hats, and other activities ahead of the start of the school year.
Each activity has its own date and location. Most cost NIS 15. Advance registration is required, and participants are advised to check the details of their chosen activity on the registration page.
