The interactive children’s opera “The Ugly Duckling” will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 16:30 to 17:15 at the Arlozorov 97 Country Club. Admission is free with advance registration, and every participant, including an accompanying parent, requires a separate ticket.
The performance is intended for ages 5-8 and is based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story follows a duckling who is rejected and sets out on a journey of self-discovery. During the performance, children are invited to respond to questions about accepting differences, coping with rejection and friendship.
The production combines operatic singing with piano accompaniment and works by Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Handel, Offenbach, Saint-Saëns and Donizetti. The text and direction are by Ido Riklin, with Inbal Brill, Sivan Keren and Moti Stepek performing.
Accessible parking and accessible restrooms are available. Paid parking is available subject to space.
