Anis Cultural Center in Jaffa Dalet will undergo a renovation and expansion beginning in September 2026 and lasting around a year. The project budget is NIS 25 million, and during construction the center’s activities will continue at Mandel Center and the Music Center.
The work will combine new construction with a comprehensive renovation of the existing building, alongside the main auditorium, which has already been renovated. The main lobby will be expanded, and a new auditorium with retractable tiered seating will be added for theater, dance, screenings and events.
The project will also include a rooftop terrace for activities such as film screenings, gatherings and yoga. A new café will offer seating inside the building and in the outdoor plaza and will be able to operate even when the cultural center is closed.
The plan also includes activity rooms, a room for classes, a workshop room and dressing rooms, alongside infrastructure and safety upgrades including a firefighting water reservoir.
