A guided butterfly walk will take place at the Rosh Tzipor urban nature site on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The tour will be led by butterfly expert Dubi Benyamini, founder of Israel’s butterfly enthusiasts association, together with Tel Aviv-Yafo’s volunteer butterfly monitors.
Participants will learn to identify butterfly species commonly found in the city and the plants that can help them thrive in yards and on balconies. The walk will also introduce community monitoring through observations and reports submitted in a dedicated app, which feed into a database used for ecological research.
A regular ticket costs NIS 50. DigiTel members pay NIS 25 after entering an Israeli ID number. The tour is designed for an adult audience and is not suitable for children under 16.

The group will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the entrance to the Talmei Aviv agricultural farm in Ganei Yehoshua. Drivers can use the free dirt parking lot accessible from 74 Rokach Street in Ramat Gan. The gate is at the southern end of the lot.
