The fifth Mimztulot Festival will take place on September 16 and 17, 2026, with three central Selichot events at HaTachana, Jaffa Port and 9 Maze Street. The main events are free, except for the theatrical headphone tour at Jaffa Port, which requires a ticket.
Selichot Around the World at HaTachana
The opening night on Wednesday, September 16, moves through Jewish musical traditions from North Africa, Turkey, Greece and Persia. Morin Nehdar, the David Cohen Ensemble and Tahar will perform from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
A theatrical tour and live music at Jaffa Port
On Thursday, September 17, Weird Jaffa will lead a headphone-based theatrical tour inspired by Jonah’s flight from Jaffa. Tours leave at 6 and 7:15 p.m. and last about 50 minutes. Tickets cost NIS 45, or NIS 15 for Digitel members, and advance registration is required.
The acoustic performance Sharot Elul begins at 8 p.m., followed by Nigun Yafo with Oded Bruchin, Yinon Shabtai, Yiftach Zamir and Eliyahu Hershkopf. The Jaffa Port program runs until 9:30 p.m.
A Different Selichah at 9 Maze
The parallel program at 9 Maze Street includes five study workshops about forgiveness, repair and relationships, followed by communal singing. The workshops run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the singing circle from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Elul events across the city
The festival is accompanied by Elul BaMimtzulot, a citywide series running September 5-19 at Beit Daniel, Maoz Aviv, Kehilot Sharot, Neve Schechter, Kehilat Daniel, Beit Tefilah Israeli and BINA.
