Cloned plate and traffic citations

At a checkpoint set up on Route 5, officers noticed a motorcycle rider who allegedly tried to escape as he reached the checkpoint. Officers and inspectors arrested the suspect, a Jaljulia resident in his 20s.

A check found that the motorcycle carried a license plate suspected of being cloned, and that the motorcycle had allegedly been stolen earlier from central Tel Aviv. The suspect was arrested and taken for further questioning.

As part of the traffic enforcement activity, citations were issued for crossing an intersection on a red light, crossing a separation line and vehicle defects. Two vehicles were taken off the road.
