A biodiversity-monitoring walk at Drezner Grove on Thursday, October 29, 2026, will introduce participants to identifying and recording urban wildlife with iNaturalist. The session runs from 4:30pm to 7pm and costs NIS 20. Participants will receive monitoring training and can join the city’s monitoring groups.

The walk includes practice photographing and reporting observations in the field. It covers the city’s biodiversity, from birds, bees and bats to local plants.

Before attending, download iNaturalist and watch both recorded tutorials: Part 1 and Part 2. Bring a fully charged smartphone, comfortable walking shoes, a hat and water.

Meet at the descent into the grove from the adjacent parking lot, at 3 Yehiel Drezner Street. Register for the walk, in Hebrew. For directions, call 052-2735115.
