HaTachana Park will host a large bicycle fair on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at 1 Yehezkel Kaufmann Street. General admission is free, with workshops, repair stations, bicycle decorating, a circus performance and a design exhibition scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening.
A graffiti and airbrush station for helmets and bicycle frames will run from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Sole for Sole, Fella Art and Oded Alon. A children’s bicycle-decorating workshop led by Maayan Ziegel Alter of Mamash Pashut will run from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Both activities are free and open to visitors.
Pnimit’s community repair workshop will operate from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. near Cafe Nahat. Volunteers will help riders work on brakes, punctures, gears, chain lubrication and brake pads. Participation is free, but each bicycle must be registered in advance.
Or Koren’s circus show, One Wheel, begins at 5:30 p.m. and combines unicycle riding, acrobatics, fire juggling, stand-up and physical theater. Refurbished children’s bicycles in sizes 12 through 24 will also be sold for NIS 50 each.
Other activities include a workshop making belts from bicycle tires, test rides on tall bikes, tandems and other unusual models, a ride-on track for toddlers and FRAMEWORK, an exhibition by graduates of the bicycle design course in HIT’s Industrial Design Department. Anyone who wants to sell a used bicycle or parts can book a free table for either 4:30-6:20 p.m. or 6:40-8:30 p.m., with advance registration.
