“Jaffa Taverna by the Sea” is a series of free cultural performances on the main deck at Jaffa Port, 10 Retzif HaAliya HaShniya. The shows take place at 19:30, under the artistic direction of Einat Besser, and combine music, poetry, texts and stories from Jaffa.
On Monday, July 20, 2026, “Tzif Tzif Above the Pier” took place: a poetry celebration with Hadar Levi and Dudu Erez, the “Wave Breakers” band and “Sharot BaShchuna.” On Monday, August 3, 2026, Roni Someck will host an evening of words and wine with Uli Danon, Ohad Ben Avi, Natan Slor, Idan Toledano, Yaron Motola and Anna Spitz.
The program will also include a tribute evening to Ahuva Ozeri on August 10, with Yehuda Keisar, Yair Tzabari and Maya Avraham, and “If I Were a Pirate” on August 17, with Hanan Yovel appearing at a tribute evening to the Whistling Gypsy Club.
Registration on the Jaffa Port website is free. Anyone who registers and agrees to receive updates from the port will receive a complimentary chilled glass of wine.
