The Manifest festival will take place at Beit Romano, 9 Jaffa Road, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 18:00 into the night. Admission is free, but capacity is limited in each space.
The festival is part of the “What Does It Matter? Democracy 2026” series and brings together one evening of performances, conversations, a manifesto competition, workshops and a participatory exhibition at Beit Romano.
The program in the courtyard will begin at 18:00 with “Dream Ballot,” during which Racheli Shalev will draw dreams live. Costa Kaplan will perform at 20:30, Teddy Neguse at 22:00, and Assulin and J.Lamotta at 22:30.
At Volnov, “Pick Me,” a manifesto competition hosted by Michal Gurfinkel, will begin at 19:30. Participants include Leah Lev, Itai Ben Simhon, Khader Abu Seif, Gal Alkalay and Lev Litman. At 21:00, the venue will also host “Anchor for the Future,” a conversation about critical thinking and reading in the age of AI.
The Pop-Up and Casa spaces will host “WhoCares?,” an exhibition of participatory art installations in cooperation with KakdelArt. At Matmon, “Future Screenshots” with Mushon Zer-Aviv will begin at 18:30, followed by a conversation with Lobby 99 at 20:00 and “What Does It Matter?,” a large election-themed game show with Gil Rabi, at 21:00.
The program also includes “Against the Current,” a lecture and listening session with Liron Amram at Nuiba at 19:00, and “Until It’s Late” with Noa Argov at Rafi at 23:00. Some events run simultaneously.
