A Netanya man in his 30s was arrested on October 28 on suspicion of driving under the influence, hitting vehicles and smashing the windows of a bus in central Tel Aviv. Three people sustained minor injuries.
Police suspect the man hit several vehicles, including a bus, then got out of his car and smashed the bus’s windows. He allegedly continued driving, hit another vehicle, abandoned his car and fled.
Officers from the Lev Tel Aviv police station found the suspect hiding at a construction site in the city and arrested him.
Traffic officers in the Yarkon area are investigating the incident as a suspected crime.
