Philosophy Night returns to Tel Aviv on Thursday, September 3, 2026, for its 10th edition. Starting at 18:45, talks, lectures and gatherings will take place at the French Institute in Tel Aviv, the Givon Art Forum, the Lily & Bloom Hotel and the Sipur Pashut bookstore.
This Year’s Central Theme Is Recovery
How do we rebuild society — and ourselves — after more than two years of war, loss and social, economic, political and religious tensions? The program aims to connect the Israeli public debate with broader questions about democracy, community and living together.
Who Will Be Speaking
The program is extensive, so here are a few highlights: Avner Ben-Zaken, Haviva Pedaya and Doron Avital will take part in the session “The State of the Israelis,” while David Ohana, Shlomo Ben-Ami and Yaron London will meet for a discussion titled “Are We Still Israelis?”
Other discussions will focus on the country’s future, with Yuli Tamir and Menachem Mautner, and on rebuilding trust and democracy, with Mickey Peled, Michal Chernovitzky and Omer Tzanani. Some sessions will be held in French, and the program also covers literature, education and artificial intelligence.
One Ticket for the Entire Evening
