During the night between Sunday and Monday, police arrested a man suspected of breaking into a store on Weinshall Street in Tel Aviv. Officers who were called to the scene after receiving a report searched the area and found the suspect hiding inside the business. Burglary tools, bottles of alcohol and cigarettes were found in his possession.
Police said the incident began with a report of a suspected break-in at the location. Police officers quickly arrived at the scene and began searching inside the business. During the search, they located the suspect as he was allegedly trying to hide inside the store.
During the search, officers seized burglary tools believed to have been used by the suspect. They also found a large quantity of items, including bottles of alcohol and cigarettes, suspected of having been stolen from the store.
The suspect was taken to the police station for questioning. He is expected to be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court, where police will request an extension of his detention as the investigation continues.
