Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court approved a request by outgoing Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi to participate remotely in a hearing on extending her detention. Tomer-Yerushalmi, who was arrested on suspicion of offenses whose details have not been published, asked not to appear physically in court “in light of her condition” – wording that appears to refer to a medical or mental health condition that may make an in-person appearance difficult.
According to a ynet report by Liran Tamari and Roy Rubinstein, the judge approved the request and the hearing will be held with her participating remotely.
