Six people were arrested in Tel Aviv on October 28 after a car ran a red light at an intersection on HaSharon Street. Four residents of the Palestinian territories are suspected of being in Israel without permits. The other two are suspected of transporting them.

Police said officers from Sharet station in the Ayalon area and Border Police personnel stopped the car during an operation and found that four occupants lacked permits to be in Israel.

All six were taken to Sharet station for questioning. Investigators intend to ask a court to extend their detention, depending on the investigation’s findings.
